Now in his third year at Randolph, Jamie Chagnon came to Randolph College after serving at Lynchburg College as the assistant sports information director from 2003-2006 and 2008-2010. While working at LC he served as the media contacts of many sports, including women’s basketball, baseball, field hockey, soccer, cross country and track and field. In between his time at Lynchburg, Chagnon worked as a sports information intern at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV. While at UNLV, he assisted with all sports, while acting as contacts for men’s soccer team and both swimming and diving squads.
Chagnon has also worked for Major League Baseball Advanced Media as a DataCaster from 2008-2010, and also had assignments as a newspaper stringer for both Lynchburg’s News and Advance and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He was also the official scorer for numerous ODAC Baseball and Softball Championships, as well as scoring NCAA Division II and III National Championships in Salem, VA. Chagnon is a 2010 graduate of Lynchburg College with a degree in sports management.
