Randolph College summer athletic camps provide instruction, fun and physical fitness activities for children and teenagers.

Basketball - Randolph College Basketball Boys and Girls Kids Camp 

Open to children entering grades kindergarten to fifth.

Dates: June 19-21
Times: 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $40
Location: RAD Center basketball court on the campus of Randolph

Description: Learning fundamental skills in a fun environment with a great staff including current players and coaches. Contests, games and relay races will take place. Free T-Shirt and daily prizes included.

Open to girls fourth grade through high school

Description: Girls will work with college players and staff on learning and improving basketball skills.

Basketball - Randolph College Skill Builder Hoop Camp

Open to boys and girls ages 5-14 for players of all skill levels

Dates: July 31 - August 3
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $150
Discounts: $25 discount for a second child, the child of a Randolph employee, or the child of a Randolph or R-MWC alum (limit of one discount per camper)

Description: A camp for all skill levels, the Randolph College Skill Builder Hoop Camp features workshops, contests, lessons, games and choice time, with lunch provided.

Equestrian – Summer Lessons

Open to ages six and up

Dates: Three-Week Packages: Session #1 - June 5-23; Session #2 - July 3-21
Times: Two one-hour lessons per week for three weeks
Cost: $300
Location: Randolph College Riding Center
Discounts:  All Randolph faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni receive a 10% discount

Equestrian – Pony Camp

Open to ages 6-12

Dates: Session #1 - June 12-16; Session #2 - June 26-30; Session #3 July 24-30
Times: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m., to 12:15 p.m. Campers are not to be dropped off before 8:45 a.m., or picked up after 12:15 p.m.
Cost: $325
Location: Randolph College Riding Center 

Description: Pony Camp will include learning about breeds, feeding of horses, shoeing, basic care of horses, riding, bathing, clipping and grooming. There will be a horse show on the Friday of each session.

Equestrian – Summer Riding Camp

Open to ages 13-18

Dates: August 14-18
Times: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Cost: $600
Location: Randolph College Riding Center
Deadline to apply: Open Until Filled.  

Description: Randolph Summer Riding Camp features individual programs offered for riders aged 13-18. Riders should be capable of walk-trot and beginner cantering on their own, independent of a lunge line, before joining. Riders participate in two hour-long mounted lessons daily (AM and PM) in addition to numerous equine and craft activities.  Riding lessons are taught by Randolph College riding instructors.

Lacrosse - Men's Prospect Day

Open to all rising high school students

Dates: Sunday September 3rd
Times: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $75 per person

Description: Players will have a chance to participate in a practice with Randolph's coaching staff, setting up a scrimmage in the afternoon. In addition, tours of Randolph's campus are available. Lunch is provided.

Soccer - Men's Adult League

Dates: Weekends Starting June 3rd-August 12th (Primarily Sundays)
Times: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., on Sundays
Cost: $45

ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THEIR OWN JERSEY NUMBER THIS SEASON. RANDOLPH WILL HELP WITH THOSE NUMBERS.

Description: The league is coed and for all participants ages 14 and up. Randolph is hoping to provide Lynchburg with a quality summer soccer league with great facilities and organization. Matches will be 11 per side and two 35 minute halves.

Description: Open to boys and girls, ages 6-12 enroll in Junior WildCat camps, ages 13-18 enroll in High School WildCat Camp. All skill and experience levels welcome. Instruction by Randolph head tennis coach Jamie Megginson along with Randolph players and assistant coaches. Learn the game that will last you a lifetime.

Open to participant’s ages: 6-9

Cost: $75 prior to May 15th; $90 after May 15th

Description: This camp is for children who are eager to learn the basic skills and technique of volleyball.  It will be three days of 2-hour sessions full of fun & games while learning the basic skills of passing, setting, hitting and serving.

Open to participant’s ages: 10-13

Dates: June 21-23

Times: 3 p.m- 5 p.m

Description:  This intermediate camp will be 3 days of 2-hour sessions that include skill-building training and improving participants fundamentals of the game.   It will include positional training of passing, setting, hitting, and serving as well as game play.

Volleyball - Overnight Advanced Skills Camp

Open to participant’s grades 9-12 who have completed in at least two seasons of volleyball (high school or club volleyball)

Dates: June 25-27

Times: All day

Cost: $250 for Residential Camper and $225 for Commuter Camper before May 15th.  $300 for Residential Camper and $275 for Commuter Camper after May 15th

Discount: $25 off for the child of a Randolph College employee or Randolph College/ R-MWC Alum

Description: This three-day-two-night overnight camp will give participants the ability to immerse themselves in volleyball skill building with collegiate coaches and players.  They will experience collegiate level positional training and team drills.
