2014 Summer Camps

Randolph College summer athletic camps provide instruction, fun and physical fitness activities for children and teenagers.

Basketball - Randolph College Girls Basketball Camp

Open to girls ages 6-15

Dates: July 14-18
Times: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Monday-Thursday. 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., Friday.
Cost: $135 before June 1st. $150 after June 1st. $25 discount for the child of a Randolph employee, or the child of a R-MWC alumnae/Randolph alumni
Description: A camp for all skill levels, the Randolph College Girls Basketball Camp is a day camp which will work on fundamentals of basketball and will also allow participants to get involved with a variety of activities and games, including basketball competitions and swimming in the pool.
Location: RAD Center basketball court on the campus of Randolph

Basketball - Randolph College Skill Builder Hoop Camp

Open to boys and girls ages 5-14 for players of all skill levels

Dates: Aug. 4-8
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $150. A $25 discount is available for a second child, the child of a Randolph employee, or the child of a R-MWC almumnae (limit one discount per camper) 
Description: A camp for all skill levels, the Randolph College Skill Builder Hoop Camp features workshops, contests, lessons, games and choice time, with lunch provided.

Equestrian – Summer Lessons

Open to ages six and up

Dates: June 2-20 (session one), June 23-July 11 (session two), July 21-August 8 (session three)
Times: Two one-hour lessons per week for three weeks
Cost: $325 per rider
Location: Randolph College Riding Center
Discounts:  All Randolph faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni receive a 10% discount

Equestrian – Pony Camp

Open to ages 6-12

Dates: June 23-27 (session one), July 14-18 (session two), August 4-8 (NEW! added session), August 11-15 (session three)
Times: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m., to 12:15 p.m. Campers are not to be dropped off before 8:45 a.m., or picked up after 12:15 p.m.

Description: Pony Camp will include learning about breeds, feeding of horses, shoeing, basic care of horses, riding, bathing, clipping and grooming. There will be a horse show on the Friday of each session.
Cost: $300 per camper

Equestrian – Clinics

Open to high school and college-aged riders

Dates: June 28-29 and August 9-10
Times: schedule TBA

Description:  Students will participate in morning and afternoon rides, tours of the riding center and campus, and a barbecue on Saturday and a horse show on Sunday
Cost:
 $325 per student, riders will be responsible for their own lodging and meal costs

Lacrosse - Randolph Lacrosse Day Camp

Open to boys of all skill levels ages 8-17.

Dates: June 10-13
Times: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Cost: $125 ($25 deposit and $100 due by May 1)
Description: Open to lacrosse players of all skill levels, the camp focuses on both team and individual instruction. Players will have lessons regarding fitness, stick work, equipment and more.

Times: 9:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Cost: $75
Description: Open to all rising high school students, players will have a chance to to participate in a practice with Randolph's coaching staff, setting up a scrimmage in the afternoon. In addition, tours of Randolph's campus are available. Lunch is provided.

Tennis - WildCat Tennis Camps

Open to boys and girls ages 6-12 and 13-18

Dates: June 16-20, 2014 (Junior WildCats), June 23-27, 2014 (Junior WildCats), July 21-25, 2014 (Senior WildCats)
Times: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Junior WildCats) *** Gatorade Included ***, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Senior WildCats) *** Bring Bag Lunch ***
Cost: $120; $50 non-refundable deposit (Junior WildCats), $180; $50 non-refundable deposit (Senior WildCats)
Description: Open to boys and girls, ages 6-12 enroll in Junior WildCat camps, ages 13-18 enroll in Senior WildCat Camp. All skill and experience levels welcome. Instruction by Randolph head tennis coach Jamie Megginson and assistant tennis coach Kersten Morrison, along with Randolph players. Learn the game that will last you a lifetime.
Location: Randolph College Tennis Courts
Discounts: 10% off if registered before May 1. All Randolph faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni receive that same 10% discount
