Randolph College summer athletic camps provide instruction, fun and physical fitness activities for children and teenagers.

Basketball - Randolph College Basketball Boys and Girls Kids Camp - Camp will be held as Scheduled

Open to children entering grades kindergarten to third.

Dates: June 13-15th
Times: 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $40
Location: RAD Center basketball court on the campus of Randolph

Description: Learning fundamental skills in a fun environment with a great staff including current players and coaches. Contests, games and relay races will take place. Free T-Shirt and daily prizes included.

Open to girls aged 6-14.

Dates: July 11-15th
Times: 9:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday (lunch included) and from 9:00am-12:00pm on Friday
Cost: $140.00 before June 1 and $150 after June 1
Discounts: There is a $25.00 discount for child of a Randolph employee or child of a RMWC alumnae/Randolph alumni.

Description: A camp for all skill levels, the Randolph College Girls Basketball Camp is a day camp which will work on fundamentals of basketball and will also allow participants to get involved with a variety of activities and games, including basketball competitions and swimming in the pool.

Open to boys and girls ages 5-14 for players of all skill levels

Dates: Aug. 1-5
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $150
Discounts: $25 discount for a second child, the child of a Randolph employee, or the child of a Randolph or R-MWC alum (limit of one discount per camper)

Description: A camp for all skill levels, the Randolph College Skill Builder Hoop Camp features workshops, contests, lessons, games and choice time, with lunch provided.

Equestrian – Summer Lessons

Open to ages six and up

Dates: June 6-24 (session one) and June 27-July 15 (session two)
Times: Two one-hour lessons per week for three weeks
Cost: $300
Location: Randolph College Riding Center
Discounts:  All Randolph faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni receive a 10% discount

Equestrian – Pony Camp

Open to ages 6-12

Dates: June 20-24 (session one), July 11-15 (session two), August 8-12 (session three)
Times: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m., to 12:15 p.m. Campers are not to be dropped off before 8:45 a.m., or picked up after 12:15 p.m.
Cost: $325
Location: Randolph College Riding Center 

Description: Pony Camp will include learning about breeds, feeding of horses, shoeing, basic care of horses, riding, bathing, clipping and grooming. There will be a horse show on the Friday of each session.

Equestrian – Summer Riding Camp

Open to ages 13-18

Dates: July 18-21 (session one), August 1-4 (session two)
Times: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Cost: $600
Location: Randolph College Riding Center
Deadline to apply: Open Until Filled.  Maximum Eight Riders Per Session

Description: Randolph Summer Riding Camp features individual programs offered for riders aged 13-18. Riders should be capable of walk-trot and beginner cantering on their own, independent of a lunge line, before joining. Riders participate in two hour-long mounted lessons daily (AM and PM) in addition to numerous equine and craft activities.  Riding lessons are taught by Randolph College riding instructors.

Times: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., on Sundays

Description: The league is coed and for all participants ages 14 and up. Randolph is hoping to provide Lynchburg with a quality summer soccer league with great facilities and organization. Matches will be 11 per side and two 35 minute halves.

Tennis - Randolph College Tennis Camps

Open to boys and girls ages 6-12 and 13-18

Dates: June 13-17 (Junior WildCats), June 20-24 (Junior WildCats), June 27- July 1 (High School WildCats)
Times: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Junior WildCats) 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (High School WildCats)
Cost: $120; $50 non-refundable deposit (Junior WildCats), $170; $50 non-refundable deposit (High School WildCats)

Discounts: 10% off if registered before May 1. All Randolph faculty, staff, alumnae and alumni receive that same 10% discount

Description: Open to boys and girls, ages 6-12 enroll in Junior WildCat camps, ages 13-18 enroll in High School WildCat Camp. All skill and experience levels welcome. Instruction by Randolph head tennis coach Jamie Megginson along with Randolph players and assistant coaches. Learn the game that will last you a lifetime.

Track and Field –  WildCats Track and Field Overnight Camp 

Open to rising High School boys and girls
Dates: July 18-22
Cost: $400 (Residential, full pay after May 1st) $350 (Residential, full pay prior to May 1st)          $200 (Commuters, full pay after May 1st) $175 (Commuters, full pay prior to May 1st)
Description: Campers will work with coaches in the hurdles, sprints, long and triple jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, and discus.

Volleyball – Basic skills Day Camp for Beginners

Open to participant’s ages: 6-10

Dates: June 22-24

Times: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m

Cost: $75 prior to May 1st; $100 after May 1st

Discount: $15 off for the child of a Randolph College employee or Randolph College/ R-MWC Alum

Description: This camp is for children who are eager to learn the basic skills and technique of volleyball.  It will be three days of 2-hour sessions full of fun & games while learning the basic skills of passing, setting, hitting and serving.

*Please mail registration and Acknowledgment of Assumption of Risk and Medical Consent form all together with payment.

Open to participant’s ages: 11-14

Dates: June 22-24

Times: 3:30 p.m- 5:30 p.m

Cost: $75 prior to May 1st ; $100 after May 1st

Description:  This intermediate camp will be 3 days of 2-hour sessions that include skill-building training and improving participants fundamentals of the game.   It will include positional training of passing, setting, hitting, and serving as well as game play.

Volleyball - Overnight Advanced Skills Camp

Open to participant’s grades 9-12 who have completed in at least two seasons of volleyball (high school or club volleyball)

Dates: July 18-21

Times: All day

Cost: $275 for Residential Camper and $225 for Commuter Camper before June 1st.  $350 for Residential Camper and $300 for Commuter Camper after June 1st

Discount: $25 off for the child of a Randolph College employee or Randolph College/ R-MWC Alum

Description: This four-day-three-night overnight camp will give participants the ability to immerse themselves in volleyball skill building with collegiate coaches and players.  They will experience collegiate level positional training and team drills.
