The Randolph College athletic department each week showcases a question and answer feature with our WildCat of the Week. The 20th student-athlete selected this year is men's basketball player Ryan Fields.
Ryan had a strong week for the WildCats, helping the team win a tough game at Bridgewater College. He scored 11 points in the game, and averaged 4.5 rebounds for the week. This season he has started 14 games, averaging eight points per game and providing tough defense.
What have you gained from being a part of this great program?
Being apart of this great program, I've gained a sense of how hard you have to work to achieve success.
What is your favorite thing about Randolph College?
My favorite thing about Randolph College is the people. Everyone from the faculty, staff, and students make the college feel like one big family.
How has being a student-athlete affected you?
Being a student-athlete has taught me to be responsible and accountable whether in the classroom, on the basketball court, or just in everyday life.
What is your favorite thing about Randolph College men's basketball?
My favorite thing about Randolph College Men's basketball team is being around a bunch of guys who I call my brothers and having a chance to do something special together.
