"Tonight was a great measuring stick that is hard to replicate in practice this time of year," said head coach Pete Hamilton. "Our focus heading in was to give a lot of guys opportunities and to sustain effort and focus throughout. We were pleased with how some young guys took advantage of a chance or two tonight."
Hamilton was optimistic for his team from what he saw. "We put a lot of potential lineups on the court and I'm excited to watch the film tonight and tomorrow to see where our success may come from moving forward," he stated. "We have a long journey ahead but I'm excited about the things this team can accomplish."
