The Randolph College athletic department each week showcases a question and answer feature with our WildCat of the Week. The fifth student-athlete selected for the year is men's soccer player Adam Watson.
Watson had a big week for the WildCats. On Wednesday he scored against the 16th-ranked team in the country for the 'Cats. He came back on Saturday and played an impressive game against ODAC rival EMU. Watson scored two goals, including the game-winner. He also assisted on Nate Juth's opener that tied the score at 1-1.
You have been on fire of late, scoring five goals and adding two assists in the last four games. How has this performance and the team's performance set you up for the final month of the season?
I think the team has really stepped up these last few games because having momentum is huge going into ODAC play.
What have you gained from being a part of this program?
I have gained a second family in my teammates as well as the coaching staff.
What is your favorite thing about Randolph College?
My favorite thing about Randolph College is the relationship you are able to establish with your professors.
How has being a student-athlete affected you?
Being a student athlete has taught me how to better manage my time.
What are your goals following graduation?
Following graduation, I would like to travel around the US and maybe Europe.
