  • Three WildCats Named to Men’s Soccer All-ODAC Team

    FOREST, Va.- On Thursday, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its All-Conference Team for men’s soccer. Three members from Randolph were selected. They were junior Adam Watson (Richmond, Va./Midlothian) (First Team), and seniors Cristian Irigoyen (Norfolk, Va./Norfolk Academy) (Third Team), and Nate Juth (Leesburg, Va./Loudon County) (Third Team).
  • Randolph Falls to Washington and Lee in ODAC Semis 4-1

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- Washington and Lee scored three times in the first half as it defeated Randolph men’s soccer 4-1 in the second semifinal of the ODAC Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Generals advance to play host Lynchburg in the championship on Sunday.

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- For the first time since 2015, the Randolph men’s soccer team finds itself in the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament. The WildCats face Washington and Lee at Lynchburg’s Shellenberger Field. Game time on Saturday will be at 4:00 p.m.
  • Watson Named ODAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

    FOREST, Va.- On Monday afternoon, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its final weekly awards of the fall season. Junior midfielder Adam Watson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) was named the Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.
  • Randolph Knocks Off Roanoke 2-1 in ODAC Quarters

    ROANOKE, VA.- Adam Watson (Richmond, Va./Midlothian) scored a pair of goals as the Randolph men’s soccer team upset Roanoke 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament on Saturday night at Kerr Stadium. The WildCats now advance to the semifinals next weekend.

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- For the 10th straight season, the Randolph men’s soccer team has qualified for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament. Head Coach Bryan Waggoner’s squad will be aiming for its second overall title and first since 2011.
  • Randolph Rallies to Defeat Guilford 2-1 to Clinch Playoff Spot

    GREENSBORO, N.C.- Trailing 1-0 in the second half, the Randolph men’s soccer team tied and then scored the winning goal with less than 10 minutes remaining to defeat Guilford 2-1 on Tuesday night. The WildCats conclude regular season play with a record of 9-8 overall and 4-5 in the ODAC. The Quakers finish 2-16 and 2-9.
  • Men’s Soccer Holds Off Bridgewater 2-1 on Senior Night

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- On a night to honor its seniors, it was a first year player and a sophomore who were the heroes for the Randolph men’s soccer team. The WildCats defeated visiting Bridgewater 2-1 on Saturday night at WildCats Stadium to remain in the ODAC playoff race.

    ROANOKE, Va.- Host Roanoke scored twice in the first half and it was all that was needed as the Maroons won 2-1 over the Randolph men’s soccer team on Wednesday night. Roanoke improves its record to 11-4-1 overall and 6-1 in the ODAC while the WildCats fall to 7-8 and 2-5 in the conference.
  • Men's Soccer Shuts Out Wasps 1-0

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- Travis Brown (Portsmouth, Va./Woodrow Wilson) scored the game’s only goal and the Randolph men’s soccer team kept visiting Emory and Henry off the board as the WildCats won by the score of 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at WildCat Stadium. The victory halts Randolph’s five-game winless streak and evens its overall record at 7-7 and improves its ODAC record to 2-4. Emory and Henry falls to 4-10-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the conference.
  • Hornets Claim City Battle 3-0 Over Randolph Men

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph and Lynchburg men’s soccer teams met once again in another chapter in the rivalry between the two cross-town rivals. The Hornets scored three times in the second half and held the WildCats off the board in a 3-0 win on Wednesday evening at Shellenberger Field.
  • Men’s Soccer Falls in Double OT at Virginia Wesleyan

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.- A foul on Randolph men’s soccer in double overtime led to a Virginia Wesleyan penalty kick and the Marlins were able to convert as they came out with a 3-2 win on Saturday afternoon. The loss evens the WildCats’ record at 6-6 overall and 1-3 in the ODAC. The Marlins move to 7-5 and 2-2 in the conference.
  • Scoring Chances Elude WildCats in 1-0 Defeat to Generals

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men’s soccer team had several scoring opportunities but could not cash them in as visiting Washington and Lee scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win on Wednesday night at WildCat Stadium. The defeat drops the WildCats to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the ODAC while W&L improves to 7-2-1 and 2-1 in the conference.
  • Randolph Men Drop First ODAC Game to Randolph-Macon 2-0

    ASHLAND, Va.- Visiting Randolph had a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal but Randolph-Macon scored twice and held up with a 2-0 win on Saturday afternoon. The Yellowjackets improve to 8-1 overall and 1-1 in the ODAC while the WildCats fall to 6-4 and 1-1 in the conference.
  • Randolph Men Fall to CNU 4-2

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- Visiting Christopher Newport netted three goals in the first half as it held a lead it would not relinquish in defeating Randolph men’s soccer 4-2 on Wednesday night at WildCat Stadium. The WildCats’ four-game winning streak comes to an end as they drop to 6-3. The Captains improve to 6-2.

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- In front of a big Homecoming crowd on a sunny and warm Saturday afternoon, the Randolph men’s soccer team hosted Eastern Mennonite in the first Old Dominion Athletic Conference for both teams. The WildCats recovered from a 1-0 deficit early on to defeat the Royals 4-2 at WildCat Stadium.

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph men’s soccer team hosted Hampden-Sydney on Tuesday night at WildCats Stadium. For the third straight game, the WildCats held an opponent off the board as they defeated the Tigers 2-0.
  • Watson’s Penalty Kick Wins It for WildCats in Overtime 1-0

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- For the second straight game, Adam Watson (Midlothian, Va./Midlothian) was the hero for the Randolph men’s soccer team. Almost a week after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime against Emory, Watson did it again albeit in a different fashion as his penalty kick goal with just over a minute and a half to play in overtime gave Randolph a 1-0 win over York on Saturday afternoon at WildCat Stadium.
  • Watson Nets OT Gamewinner; Waggoner Earns 100th Career Win in 1-0 WildCat Victory

    LEXINGTON, VA.- For the second straight game, the Randolph men’s soccer game played to an extra period. This time, the Wildcats were on the right side of the score as Adam Watson (Richmond, Va./Midlothian) hit the winning goal in overtime to lift the ‘Cats to a 1-0 win over Emory at Washington and Lee’s Watt Field.
  • Randolph Men Fall to #6 F&M 2-1 in Double OT

    LEXINGTON, Va.- The Randolph men’s soccer team knew they were in for a battle with #6 Franklin and Marshall on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats and Diplomats dueled for over 103 minutes of game time and it was F&M that came away the victors with a 2-1 double overtime win at Washington and Lee’s Watt Field.
  • WildCats Defeat Blazers 3-1 in Home Opener

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- The conditions were not ideal but the game went on as the Randolph men’s soccer team hosted Hood on Wednesday night at a rainy and damp WIldCat Stadium. The WildCats got out to an early lead and were able to hold off the visiting Blazers with a 3-1 victory. The win puts Randolph’s overall record at 2-1 while Hood falls to 1-2.
  • Big Second Half Effort Leads WildCats to 4-2 Victory over Sewanee

    BIRMINGHAM, AL.- Looking for their first win of the 2017 season, the Randolph men’s soccer team faced off against Sewanee on the second day of the Birmingham Southern Labor Day Classic at Goldfarb Field on Saturday afternoon. The WildCats scored three times in the second half on their way to a 4-2 victory.
  • WildCats Denied by Panthers 2-1 In Season Opener

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Randolph men’s soccer opened its 2017 season on the road at the Birmingham-Southern Labor Day Classic on Friday night. The Wildcats scored late to get on the board but it was not enough as the host Panthers held off for a 2-1 victory.
  • Men’s Soccer 2017 Season Preview

    LYNCHBURG, Va.- In the recent ODAC men’s soccer preseason poll, the Randolph men’s soccer team was picked to finished sixth out of the 12 teams coming off an 8-6-5 season in 2016. While this year’s prediction would certainly qualify them for the postseason tournament, that is not where the WildCats want to end.

    FOREST, VA.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) released it 2017 men’s soccer preseason poll on Thursday afternoon. Randolph was selected sixth out of the 12-team league with a total of 66 points.
