LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph College men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) decision to visiting Randolph-Macon College on Saturday afternoon.
The YellowJackets swept doubles play to take a 3-0 lead at the start of the singles matches but Bradley Strober (Stockton, N.J./Hunterdon Central) was able to secure the WildCats a win at No. 1 singles, taking down his opponent in three sets (6-3, 2-6, 10-7).
Joe Kaneda (Media, Pa./Penncrest) managed to take two games from his opponent in the No. 2 spot, but ultimately fell, 6-2, 6-0. The YellowJackets would go on to sweep the rest of the singles matches to clinch the win.
Randolph drops to 2-10, 1-7 ODAC and move on to host Hampden-Sydney College on Friday, April 20 at 3 p.m.
