Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Lynchburg in Home Finale

LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Randolph women's lacrosse team hosted cross-city rival Lynchburg on Wednesday evening at WildCat Stadium. The Hornets won by the score of 16-0.

The WildCats were held to one shot on the night, which was by Sarah Perry (Rocky Mount, Va./Franklin County) with 13:25 remaining in the first half. Perry won two draw controls and caused one turnover. Hannah Bradley (Wye Mills, Md./Saints Peter and Paul) picked up two groundballs and Teagan Stanley (Lusby, Md./Homeschool) caused two turnovers. Chrissy Shackleford (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) stopped 10 shots in the net.

Randolph led Lynchburg in total ground balls 6-4.

The WildCats travel to Guilford on Saturday. Game time will be at 1:00 p.m.
