FOREST, Va.- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon. Senior midfielder Delaney Doyle (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester) was named the Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
Doyle put together an eight-point week to help the WildCats in non-conference action. Doyle scored the final two goals in a 4-0 triumph at William Peace, locking up the WildCats' first win of the season. She then came to a rescue in a 2-2 draw with Marymount (Va.) in Randolph's home opener on Saturday. After opening the game's scoring with a goal in the 22nd minute, she helped the WildCats avoid a 2-1 loss with the tying goal in the 70th minute.
For the season, Doyle is tied for the ODAC lead with eight points and four goals scored.
