LYNCHBURG, VA – On Wednesday, the Randolph College women's and men's tennis programs released the schedules for the upcoming calendar year.  The two teams will be looking to continue the great success they had this past season, with the first action coming in early September.

Individual action will begin things for both programs.  The men's team will be the first to take to the court, taking part in the WildCat Fall Invite on September 9.  The women host the same event the next Saturday, before both compete in the ITA Regionals at the University of Mary Washington.  The women's team will play in Fredericksburg during the weekend of September 23, while the men play the following weekend.

The WildCats conclude the fall portion of the season during the first full week of October.  Each team will travel to Southern Virginia University and the Catholic University of America.

Randolph returns to action in February, beginning the spring season.  Both teams host three home matches that month, with Ferrum College (February 17), Averett University (February 24), and Pfeiffer University (February 25).

The one difference between the two slates during the early part of the schedule is when they take on defending Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Champions, Washington and Lee University.  The women begin the ODAC slate against the Generals on the road on February 20, while the men will host W&L on March 1.

After Washington and Lee, the 'Cats return to the road for two matches.  The first is at St. Mary's College of Maryland on March 4.  The next is after Spring Break on March 16 at Bridgewater College.  Following that match, both teams begin a homestand.  The women play three at home (Centre College, Sweet Briar College, and Emory & Henry College) between March 20 and March 24, while the men will not play SBC.

The WildCats then hit the road for the final three road matches of the year, with every opponent being a member of the ODAC.  After that trip, the WildCats finish with four-straight on Rivermont Ave.  Lynchburg College and Randolph-Macon College come on April 11 and April 14.  The following Friday, the women host Hollins University, while the men take on Hampden-Sydney College.  The regular season concludes on April 22, as the 'Cats host Shenandoah University.
