Women’s Tennis Set to Host Roanoke in ODAC Quarterfinal

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph College women's tennis team clinched the No. 4 seed in the upcoming 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Tennis Tournament.

The WildCats will host a quarterfinal match on Wednesday, May 1 where they will face No. 5 Roanoke College at 2 p.m. at the Randolph Tennis Courts.

Washington and Lee University received the top seed and will host No. 8 Virginia Wesleyan University while No. 2 The University of Lynchburg will play host to No. 7 Bridgewater College. Randolph-Macon College earned the No. 3 seed and will host the fourth quarterfinal match against No. 6 seed Emory & Henry College. 

This will be the second time this season the WildCats host the Maroons on their home courts as Randolph defeated Roanoke, 5-4, in the regular season. The winner will move on to play the winner of the Virginia Wesleyan/Washington and Lee match-up.

The four winners from the quarterfinal rounds will travel to Virginia Wesleyan for the semifinals and final on Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5.

Semifinals | Saturday, May 4 | Virginia Wesleyan University
Match 5:  Winner Match 1 vs. Winner Match 2 – 1:30 p.m.
Match 6:  Winner Match 3 vs. Winner Match 4 – 4:00 p.m.

Championship | Sunday, May 5 | Virginia Wesleyan University
