2016-2017: (Indoor) – Continued to be one of the top throwers not only on the team but in the conference…threw the weight and the shot at every indoor meet but one…improved throughout the season and had her best meet at the ODAC Championships…launched the weight a season-best of 38’7.75” for fifth-place and four points…posted an indoor-record for the shot of 35’5”, which gave her eighth and another point. (Outdoor) – Through all four apparatuses at every outdoor meet but two…did not throw the hammer at ODACs and only threw the shot put at the W&L Carnival…improved greatly throughout the year in the shot, hammer, and javelin, posting career-marks in all three events…set a PR of 25’5.75” in the shot at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational…just missed points at ODACs, finishing ninth…was fourth in the hammer at the Doc Jopson Invite with a record of 112’11”…also took third in the javelin at that meet…took second in the javelin at the WildCat Invitational with a record of 92’11”…picked up two points at ODACs in the discipline with a heave of 85’2”.

2016: (Indoor) Outstanding first year for the thrower…competed in both the shot put and the weight throw for the WildCats…tied the program record in the shot in her first meet…blew past it in the next two meets…holds the indoor record with a distance of 34’4” with her toss coming at the Vince Brown Invitational…was very good in the weight throw as well…posted season-best of 40’2.25” at the Susquehanna University Open. (Outdoor) At some point during the season, threw every apparatus for the WildCats…set the school-record in the shot put at the Roanoke College Track and Field Invitational with a distance of 33’9.25”…also had her best hammer toss of the season at the same meet, with a heave of 93’4”…opened the season with her best discus toss of 91’3” at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Invitational…best javelin mark came at the WildCat Invitational with a distance of 76’2”.

Previous: Was a thrower for the Hedgesville High School Eagles track and field team for three years.

Personal: Daughter of James and Terita Stevenson...has one sibling...was a member of the National Honors Society.
