GREENSBORO, N.C. -- On a muddy and well-worn course, the women's cross country team braved the elements to post solid marks.

Starting from the outside group, Randolph got off to a strong start in wet and cold conditions at the ODAC Championships today.

With just two loops around the winding and slightly hilly course, senior Monica Ashby was able to come home in a time of 27:18.7, good for 41st place.

Senior Sarah Reed and first-year Sophia Dill, who completed the first loop together, finished just a few spots apart, as Reed finished in 28:31.2, a half minute ahead of her teammate.

Next, sophomore Taylor Rama and first-year Baylee Snead finished consecutively, followed by senior Meghann Pitts.
