The Randolph College women's basketball team showed some improvement this week, and one of the bright spots lately has been the play of Jensen Hoover (Woodstock, VA/Central). For her play, she has earned WildCat of the Week accolades.
Hoover had one of the best weeks of her two-year career for the WildCats, as the sophomore forward average 13.0 points and 8.0 boards, shooting 80.0 percent from the floor. She played 29.5 minutes per game this week, making 12 of her 15 shots from the floor. She also grabbed seven offensive rebounds and 16 total boards. Hoover added a career-high 17 points Saturday in a loss to Roanoke College.
Hoover leads the ODAC in shooting percentage with a 60 percent clip, and had only three turnovers all of last week. Congratulations to Hoover on being named this week's WildCat of the Week.
