Hunt scored 28.3 points per game over the three contests this week, including netting 35 and 36 in contests against Ferrum College Wednesday and Shenandoah University Saturday, respectively. He also averaged nine rebounds, going for a double-double twice, while dishing out nearly four assists per game and snatching nearly four steals per contest.
He broke the school record in scoring twice this week, one upping himself Saturday after setting it Wednesday. He shot .625 on the week, including going six-of-12 from behind the arc and 19-22 (86.4 percent) from the free throw line. In the lone game he didn’t net 30, he scored 14 points in only 19 minutes at Christendom. Hunt has led the WildCats to a perfect 8-0 record, including going 3-0 in the ODAC, arguably the hardest Division III conference in the nation.
Congratulations to Colton Hunt on earning WildCat of the Week honors.
