The Randolph College women's lacrosse team earned its first-ever win over Methodist University Saturday with a 19-5 victory, led by the seven points from sophomore Taylor Klevenz (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill). For her effort, she has garnered WildCat of the Week accolades.
The sophomore middie had a stellar week, scoring five goals while dishing out five assists as the WildCats went 1-1. She also corralled 11 draw controls over the two games. In Wednesday's loss to W&L, Klevenz netted two goals and dished out an assist, scoring on one of her two free position attempts. She also had five draw controls against the Generals.
Saturday in Randolph's first ever win over Methodist, the sophomore middie tallied seven points (3G, 4A), picking up two ground balls and six draw controls. Her four assists in a game tied the school record. She is now third in the ODAC in draw controls and seventh in total points.
