LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Women's soccer player Taylor Gamble (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester) is this week's WildCat of the Week.

Gamble, a first-year player, has already made a huge impact on the back line for the WildCats in her four career games.

Starting in each contest, Gamble has anchored a defense that has allowed just three goals in four games and has aided in the offense's success as well.

The Gloucester native played a big role in the team's 5-0 win over Notre Dame (Md.) on Friday, preventing the Gators from scoring a game-tying goal by making a sliding save on the goal line. In addition, she notched an assist on an important insurance goal before the half.
