Women's lacrosse has the nation's leading goaltender, and she is the WildCat of the Week.
Senior Samantha Fagone currently leads the nation in both saves and saves per game, posting 157, 12 more than any keeper in the nation, through 11 games this year.
Her 14.27 per contest puts her over one full save per game above anyone else in Division III with at least seven games played.
Fagone's 49.6% save percentage is 32nd in the nation, as well, and sixth among keepers with over 100 saves this year.
Fagone has made 10 or more stops in seven straight games and has had at least 15 stops six different times, including a 19-save effort, which is the most any keeper in the ODAC has had this year.
Fagone, whose Senior Day is this Saturday, leads Randolph in career wins, saves and save percentage in program history.
On Wednesday, ahead of the team's game at Hollins, Fagone will do a question and answer session, which will be posted online.
